Ryan and I loved that the drive up to the museum was like a runway at an airport. :)
I still can't believe the size of this airplane. Absolutely HUGE!! And I think that's me in the middle of the bottom picture haha. We finally got to the coast where we stayed in these nice little Chalets that had access to a private beach which was pretty cool.
Our view from our parking lot. I forgot how much I love seeing the Ocean. Our first actual day there we went to Newport and shopped around a lot and then ended our day at Rogue brewery where they have the best pumpkin beer ever! My new favorite. And so far I haven't found any in Lewiston which is unfortunate.
But it was a lot of fun hanging out there and then we decided to have a fire on the beach that night which was a ton of fun. The tide was low and we were the only ones on the beach and I wish I would've gotten some pictures but unfortunately I wasn't in the blogging frame of mind and didn't but I wish that is something we could do all the time. The next day we went to Lincoln City and hit the Outlet mall where I found some good finds and Ryan and I bought a Kite that day to take out. We didn't end up flying our kite but we all did end up going back to a Rogue bar in Newport, not the brewery but fully stocked with Rogue beers where we found out Saturday is Trivia night at the bar! We decided to leave, eat, and go back that night to play trivia where we had a blast and played until close to midnight that night. We ended up winning six dollars back to use towards our tab which didn't help out a lot but that's ok.
These were a few pictures outside of the Rogue Brewery. Unfortunately when Ryan and I actually got to fly our kite on Sunday I didn't get any decent pictures because I wasn't thinking. On our way home Monday Ryan and I wanted to go to the Tillamook Cheese Factory in Tillamook, OR where we started our morning with cheese, ice cream and breakfast. On our drive home we decided we wanted to take a small detour on this road that drove past some waterfalls and it was a lot of fun.
Here are pictures of the three waterfalls we were able to see.
Wahkeena Falls
Multnomah Falls
Horsetail Falls
This trip was a ton of fun and can't wait until our next adventure.
